For Whitney Pakpo a special place in their hearts. After all, chey got engaged there. So it’s fitting that the neighborhood played such a big role in their wedding day. The pair chose Georgetown University’s Dahlgren Chapel for their ceremony–Lowell attended Georgetown Law. Instead of personalized vows, they each chose to write a letter to the other to read while preparing for the day. “This allowed us to soak in the moment, and I got a good cry in before my makeup was done,” says Whitney with a laugh. For their reception, they chose The Ritz-Carlton, Georgetown.
